The 2019 LoLa Art Crawl takes place on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 from 10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m both days. Each site with artists needs to be open for the duration of both days. The deadline to register and submit payment for the 2019 LoLa Art Crawl was July 25.
The eligibility requirements to participate in LoLa in 2019 are as follows:
– All former LoLa Art Crawl members are eligible.
– Anyone who lives OR works in the greater Longfellow neighborhood is eligible.*
– Current OR former LoLa Art Crawl participants (or neighborhood residents) are welcome to invite friends or family members to participate as an artist in this year’s crawl. Please note, eligible LoLa artists will be given priority at neighborhood business sites.
* The greater Longfellow neighborhood is defined as: east of Hiawatha Avenue to the Mississippi River and south of the Greenway to Minnehaha Parkway. (Please note: Any previous LoLa artist may participate even if you no longer live or work in the neighborhood. If you were an artist in the Crawl from 2014 to 2016, at a site outside of these current boundaries, you may express your preference to
locate at that site again in 2019.) If you have questions about eligibility, please contact us.
Sponsor Registration has also Closed!
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Sponsor for the 11th Annual League of Longfellow Artists’ Art Crawl.
In order to allow your organization maximum chances to benefit from the publicity and build-up to the event, registering your sponsorship at your preferred level entitles you to the greatest benefits. View the benefits of four different Sponsorship levels between $500 and $50 dollars.
We are asking supportive local businesses, community organizations and individuals to consider being a sponsor of the 2019 LoLa Art Crawl. This sponsorship will help pay for promotional materials such as posters, maps, signs, and advertising. The $35 fee paid by LoLa artists is the basis of our Art Crawl budget, but Sponsors’ financial assistance helps bring city-wide traffic into Longfellow. Gold, Platinum and Pillar Sponsors have the opportunity to include an ad in the 2019 Artist Directory and their location on a map of Art Crawl Sponsors and Artists.
Imagine your Crawl
As big or little an Adventure as you want. In the coming days we’ll show you possible paths through strange and familiar Neighborhood territory.

The Biggest Little Neighborhood Art Crawl in Minneapolis
The League of Longfellow Artists (LoLa) welcomed thousands of you to the LoLa Art Crawl, an annual event in the Greater Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis since 2009. At local studios, businesses and artists’ homes or yards, LoLa exhibited a huge variety of artwork featuring 100+ Artists at 60 Sites! We are delighted with the way the two days unfolded and hope you plan to return in 2019.
A LoLa Artist is someone that has participated in a LoLa Art Crawl OR lives or works in the greater Longfellow neighborhood. Artists are encouraged to attend the reception, and are welcome at the gallery hours, but this is not required.
